Everybody says that mental development is the most important area of development in squash?

Everybody is right…but so is physical and tactical and technique important. One is a function of the other. Walking on the squash court with just mental strength and the belief that one will win, will not equip one to achieve the ultimate objective. Physical training is one of the most, and in some cases, the most important ingredient in training to achieve high perfomance. Fatigue is the main benefactor of lack of physical training. When technical skills are affected by fatigue a players tactical ability suffers.
