Pano wins 3-1 v’s up and coming S.A. player
The goal of beating a player that has a position much lower than you on the national ladder is an achievement all players should strive to achieve. This means more points and a rapid climb up the ladder. This also means that seading at tournaments is much better as you meet better players later on in the tournament rather than in the beginning. On the 19th April 2011, Southern Suburbs played Old Eds where Pano met Christo Potgieter, a top 10 S.A. ranked player. Pano won convincingly 3 /1 and earned 30 points to place him at No 29 nationally.
