♦ BTB 2020 Coaching packages ♦
The coach, Coach Nick and Coach Pano, is assumed to know more about squash, and have previous experience and knowledge. The coach’s job is to transfer as much of this knowledge and experience to the players to develop them into skilled players.Coach Nick gets involved in the direction, instruction and training of an individual squash player. Coach Nick and coach Pano get involved in all areas of development with Coach Pano focusing on speed and reaction time. Coach Nick and coach Pano get hired by parents, schools and seniors. Why? The reason is that we challenge the ‘status quo’. We believe in thinking differently. How? By adding value to the BTB academy and by adding value to our children. We train our players to become better in all the areas of the game irrespective of talent. What? We get the results we want. Discounts and cheap prices add no value to any service. This can be done in 4 different ways:-
Package No 1:-Although it is the most expensive, one on one training is probably the most effective way of beginning an individual as Coach Nick and coach Pano focus specifically on one person and on that persons issues. This training is focused predominantly on the pupil that needs technical help such as a beginner from 11 years and older unless or otherwise it is recommended that a younger child is able to manage a private session. The pupils that begin here can move on to package 2 once technique improves. Depending on the standard of the pupil, a video assessment of the pupil playing a full match may be required. The session lasts 45 minutes. The 2020 prices are R530.00 per session. If the month has five weeks the fifth session is not charged for but will be used as a catch-up session if a child misses sessions during the year.
Package No. 2:-Coach Nick and coach Pano focus on 2 pupils at a time and structures the lesson around routines to practice and perfect a particular shot. Routines provide a controlled situation where a planned number of shots are practiced in a given time in the routine. Even though the players may be of different playing levels, they can still work effectively together. Although technique is never neglected throughout a pupils squash career this type of lesson focuses on improving shot control, shot selection and shot execution with proper court movement. This lesson moves primarily towards focussing on Tactics and BMT. The pupils may also have more fun in pairs lessons. The lesson lasts 45 minutes. The 2020 prices are R350.00 per session per person. If the month has five weeks the fifth session is free on condition that the contract is complete and the fees are paid in advance.
Package No. 3:-Coach Nick focuses on three pupils at a time and structures the lesson similar to Package 2 but the difficulty of a particular skill may vary according to the standard of the 3 pupils. This also allows the coach to watch his pupils without having to worry about his own hitting of the ball. The lesson lasts 45 minutes. The 2020 prices are R290.00 per session per person. If the month has five weeks the fifth session is free on condition that the contract is complete and the fees are paid in advance.
Package No 4:-Coach Nick and coach Pano have 6 pupils in a Group environment where the basic skills are taught. The age per pupil is between 7 – 13 years of age. As the information given to one can benefit a group of pupils, it is not necessary to have one on one at this level. Due to the age of the pupil, there is a lot of fun in the session. The objective of this lesson is to develop the dominant bio-motor abilities specific to squash. The duration of the lesson is between 45 – 60 min. The 2020 prices are R700.00 per person per month.
Once the assessment has been done, Coach Nick will recommend the package suitable for the pupil.
